ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ON-CAMPUS RECRUITMENT ADMISSION
Ithaca College’s Office of Admission seeks a results-driven and collaborative individual for the position of Associate Director. The Associate Director will serve a key leadership role and will oversee all campus-based recruitment initiatives, including a comprehensive campus visit program and major admission events. The successful candidate will supervise a team of admission professionals, and will have extensive contact with the public, faculty, current students, and a wide range of campus offices. The Associate Director will also engage in some recruitment travel, developing and maintaining professional relationships with guidance counselors and Ithaca College alumni. He or she will review undergraduate applications as part of the College’s admission committee.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-7 years experience in college or university admission; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to represent the College effectively to various audiences; proven leadership abilities and previous supervisory experience; ability to work with a diverse population of students and parents; demonstrated ability to manage recruitment and admission processes and leverage data in decision-making; demonstrated success in developing and implementing recruitment or similar events; ability to travel; possession of or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license and to meet requirements to drive a College vehicle are required.
