The successful candidate will have a dynamic research agenda in ethnographically-based cultural anthropology, and be highly qualified to teach an introduction to cultural anthropology, as well as four other courses. Geographic area and topical specializations are open if they complement departmental strengths. Some of these courses may also be cross-listed with one of Vassar's multidisciplinary programs. PhD and teaching experience at time of application is strongly preferred.
