About the Program:
Over the last ten years, Pierce College has prepared members currently working in fire services to develop leadership skills and knowledge through our Fire Command and Administration Program. The industry is moving toward requiring bachelor prepared individuals to accept leadership roles in fire services organizations. To fill this need, Piece College is developing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Fire Services Leadership and Management. This program compliments and builds upon the in-house training done by fire districts. The BAS-FSLM will begin admission of students in Fall 2019 or Winter of 2020. This position reports to the Dean of Health and Technology.
