Job Summary

The University of Kentucky is accepting applications for the position of Temporary/Part-time Horticulture Technician. The position is located in Jackson, KY. This position will be for the period of April – September. Occasional work in other locations assisting with ongoing projects. Normally 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, but occasional evening and weekend work is possible. Work consists of planting, maintaining and harvesting crops from research plots and assisting with other projects. Skills include tractor operation, pesticide application, pest identification, and general handyman skills. Must be capable of independent work. Driver’s license and 5 years driving experience required.
