YOU MUST BE A CURRENT UK STUDENT TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION:
A local sports and recreation complex is seeking students who are interested in working as a Recreation Leader. The primary responsibilities for this position include providing instruction and support for guests participating in basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, ice hockey, indoor soccer, or other organized sports. Other duties include team development, working in admissions, simple food service in concessions, as well as maintaining the facility.
|Skills / Knowledge / Abilities|| |
Must be able to relate and enjoy interacting with guests of all ages, which can range from toddlers to grandparents.
Must obtain a Fayette County food handlers permit, but it can be obtained upon hiring.
Students who are familiar with indoor team sports, such as basketball, volleyball, ice hockey etc. are preferred.
Any first aid skills or experience as a sports trainer would also be beneficial.
