Job Description:
This student position will assist journeyman painters and sign shop personnel. Duties will include housekeeping, masking, sanding, moving furniture, job site preparation and clean up, mixing paint, interior and exterior painting including cut in with brush and rolling. This student position will be provided with basic knowledge and experience in the painting trade.
This position is subject to a pre-employment, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol test. The candidate selected for hire will be required to sign a form acknowledging this policy. A positive drug or alcohol test will result in referral to the University of Nevada, Reno Student Conduct Office.

Required Qualifications:
The candidate must be dependable, reliable, motivated, willing to learn, able to work as a team, good work ethic, able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.

Preferred Qualifications:
Construction related experience in the building trades, painting preferred, is desirable but not required. 7:00 am to 12:00 pm preferred hours.
