POSITION IN REHABILITATION COUNSELING

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (illinois.edu) and the College of Applied Health Sciences (ahs.illinois.edu) invites applicants for a full-time open rank tenure-track position in Rehabilitation Counseling (gradrehab.illinois.edu) housed within the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health (kch.illinois.edu). Emphasis will be placed on scholars who have a commitment to developing, or have a developed programmatic line of research related to increasing the overall participation of individuals with disabilities including well-being, health, and employment. In addition to research, the successful candidate is also expected to teach in class and online at both the undergraduate and graduate level and contribute to all levels of service.
Successful candidates must have an earned doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field. Evidence demonstrating potential capacity to acquire research funding, effectively teach, and contribute to the growth and development of the Rehabilitation Counseling Program in the department, college, and university is expected. We are seeking a candidate who can complement and extend our current program strengths in health and work, and contribute to the growth and development of the Rehabilitation Counseling program area nationally and internationally.

Salary: Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with the applicant's record.
