The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Library Technician 3 position for the Libraries. The incumbent will work as a member of the Electronic Resources & Acquisition Services team and be responsible for managing library materials budget funds; overseeing invoice processing; tracking and processing invoices for subscription-based acquisitions; processing continuation renewals, new purchases, changes, and cancellations; supervising an accounting assistant; and other duties as assigned.
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.

Graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of increasingly responsible library experience, two years of which was technical experience in a relevant functional area of a library; OR one year of experience as a Library Technician II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Experience Requirements:• The position requires experience working in a library.• The position requires experience with budgeting in a library or business setting. • The position requires experience using databases or data management tools such as Excel, MS Access.• The position requires experience providing technical services in a library or business setting such as ordering/receiving, invoice processing, managing serials and/or electronic resources.
• Experience with SharePoint and/or an integrated library management system such as Innovative’s Millennium or Sierra system
