Job Description:
Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is recruiting for a full-time Library Technician 1 in the TMCC Elizabeth Sturm Library. This position is responsible for the supervision of circulation functions at the Truckee Meadows Community College library. These functions include scheduling staffing for the circulation desk, interlibrary loans, supervision of classified staff, hiring and supervision of student assistants, maintaining user records in the library's database, providing reference services to students and other duties as assigned.

The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to include working one evening a week; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and two years of increasingly responsible experience working in a library; OR one year of experience as a Library Assistant III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
