Position/ Job Summary: Provide high level programmatic development, data analysis, and prospect pool optimization for the Leadership Gifts program with a prime focus on the Blue & Gold program within it. Manage pool of leadership gifts prospects as appropriate. Participate in the management of other promising prospects with leadership giving potential and assist with establishing and implementing fundraising strategies. Work to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Blue & Gold Society by overseeing gift acknowledgments; preparing proposals; managing the online community; planning and preparing itineraries and briefings for on and off campus cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and recognition visits and events; and developing and producing key materials for the Blue & Gold Society National Committee. Working closely with the Senior Director Leadership Gifts and Prospect Development and the Director of Strategic Research, assume responsibility for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing information to inform cultivation and stewardship strategies for groups of leadership gifts prospects and prepare leadership gifts proposals and solicitations.

Position/ Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in project management, fundraising, communications or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience; demonstrated excellence in writing, as well as strong overall communication skills; ability to effectively work and interact respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment; ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize to meet all deadlines; strong organizational skills, ability to gather, analyze and organize information and data, and communicate outcomes succinctly; excellent attention to detail; understanding of confidentiality and significance of adhering to it as related to Ithaca College fundraising; attendance at College functions during and after business hours are required. Previous experience working in a college or university setting is preferred.
