Engineering Projects ManagerRequirements

This position will require a strong technical engineering background, with an emphasis on problem-solving, trouble-shooting and familiarity with the technical trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and communications systems.

Practical in-the-field experience is required, especially in the commissioning of systems.

The Engineering Project Manager must illustrate the ability to effectively integrate engineering issues into architectural design parameters.

Project management experience is required and the ability to handle multiple large-scale projects and their inherent issues with effective time management.

Experience in project estimating and budgeting is preferred.

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field (mechanical or electrical concentration preferred). Professional Engineering Registration is preferred.

Seven to ten years of experience, in the areas described above, is required. Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations as related to building construction is essential.

Experience within higher education is desirable.
