The Nursing program invites applications for a nine month faculty position to provide education instruction for our nursing programs.
Basic duties include preparation of syllabus and course materials, delivery of lectures/labs, grading, and assignment of grades. Additional responsibilities include recruiting and advising students, committee participation, course and program assessment, and university service. A requirement of this position is to be located and maintain an office on campus at Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The successful applicant will possess experience in the development, management, organization and curriculum delivery in Undergraduate BSN programs. The candidate must possess strong communication and organizational skills and a desire to develop innovative learning experiences. Candidates should be dedicated to excellence in teaching, with a strong commitment to high professional standards, both in and outside the classroom. Knowledge and experience with technology sufficient to teach assigned course(s). Ability and extensive experience with the delivery of didactic and online curriculum delivery is mandatory.
Qualifications include: an earned master's degree with a major in nursing required; an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field preferred. Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas. A minimum of three years experience in an academic setting is preferred.
