The Department of Nursing at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania which has accredited BSN and MSN programs, as well as a new DNP program is seeking applicants for an ongoing pool of nursing instructors and registered dieticians. Primary responsibility for nursing instructors: teach graduate/undergraduate courses in both the clinical and didactic components of our BSN/MSN program. Primary responsibility for registered dietician: teach nutrition to sophomore level nursing students.
Eligibility for Pennsylvania RN licensure; advanced practice certification, if applicable. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
Candidates with doctorates in nursing or related field are encouraged to apply.
Graduate (clinical/didactic) and Undergraduate (didactic):
Minimum MSN or graduate degree in pertinent subject area; expertise in area of instruction.
Undergraduate (clinical only):
MSN preferred, minimum BSN; clinical experience in specialty area; BSN applicants must have plan for continuing graduate education.
Pennsylvania license as a registered dietician is required. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
In addition, all finalists must (a) communicate well; (b) successfully complete an interview process; and (c) (didactic only) successfully complete a teaching demonstration as judged by the department faculty.
