Willamette University is accepting applications for the position of Associate Director of Admission & Coordinator of Multicultural Recruitment.

The Associate Director of Admission and Coordinator of Multicultural Recruitment is essential to supporting the mission and enrollment goals of Willamette University and to ensuring the current and future academic quality and fiscal health of the University. The Associate Director participates as part of the College of Liberal Arts Admission team in all admission-related activities including, but not limited to, management of an admission territory, high school visitations and University representation at college fairs, correspondence, telephone and email contacts, conducting interviews, implementation of recruitment events, review of applicant files, participation in merit scholarship recommendations, supervision of a portion of the admission professional staff and facilitates collaboration between staff to achieve enrollment goals for Willamette University. Under the direction of the Sr. Associate Director for Admission the Associate Director will develop and implement a contemporary and effective diversity recruitment program for the office of admission. Specifically, the Associate Director will align the diversity recruitment program with strategic goals of the admission office.

Work involves a variety of duties and responsibilities including travel and outreach in Willamette University’s admission efforts for the College of Liberal Arts. Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills for both internal and external audiences. Service and quality of the campus visit has a significant impact on Willamette’s image and student’s decision to enroll.

This is a full-time, year round position. This position is eligible for the University’s generous benefits package that includes: medical/dental insurance, sick and vacation accruals, generous retirement plan, tuition remission, and holidays.
