The Gender and Sexuality Studies Program at St. Lawrence University is seeking applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor beginning in the fall of 2018. Gender and Sexuality Studies is a vibrant interdisciplinary program that is committed to cultivating critical inquiry through excellence in teaching and through collegial exchange and collaboration.

We are seeking candidates working in the areas of gender, sexuality, and media from a transnational perspective. Areas of teaching will include: Gender and Society; Gender, Sexuality and the Media; Transnational Feminism; Gender in the Middle East (or comparable focused, transnational topic) and Gender in a Global Perspective. Applicants must be from interdisciplinary programs with teaching experience in gender and sexuality studies. Candidates must have PhD in-hand by August 2018.
