The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a full-time Admissions & Records Assistant 3 for the Graduate School. The incumbent will determine admissibility to graduate school by evaluating applications, transcripts, test scores and grade point averages; utilize the document imaging system to transmit admission packets and manage student files; enter applications into the student information system; act as the graduate school liaison; maintain knowledge of enrollment procedures of the various graduate programs and campus; provide support for international admissions and transfer credit evaluations; and other duties as assigned. The successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills.
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.

Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of clerical experience, two years of which was in a college admissions and/or records office or relevant student services area which included records maintenance, public/customer relations, evaluation of detailed information and documents, and the explanation of complex policies and procedures; OR one year of experience as an Admissions & Records Assistant II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Position Experience: 1) This position requires experience working in higher education.2) This position requires experience working with a student information system.3) This position requires experience working with a document imaging system.
1) Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.2) Experience using database software.
