The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine's Office for Community Faculty (OCF) is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant III. The incumbent will be responsible for executive assistance and support to the OCF Director as well as managing the office (located in Renown's Regional Medical Center), budgeting, and assisting with community faculty programs throughout Northern Nevada. The incumbent will be responsible for helping with recruitment efforts by managing and developing events, committees, and resources as requested by the Director, coordinating onboarding activities for community faculty, assisting with faculty development programs and maintaining access to resources for community faculty. This individual should be self-motivated as a significant portion of time will be spent on problem-solving community faculty needs, marketing the OCF, anticipating the needs of the OCF Director and developing information for newsletters and other materials.
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.

Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of progressively responsible relevant work experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintenance of complex records and files; public/customer relations including explaining detailed policies, regulations and requirements; preparation and processing of financial and statistical documents such as payroll, travel, claims and budgeting forms; and assisting staff and management with projects and activities; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with budgets in a business setting. Experience acting as an office manager by coordinating front desk activities, managing daily operation activities and prioritizing assignments. Experience developing and maintaining accounts.
