GEO 373 Latin America LOCATIONS: Detroit, MI & Online
Geographic characteristics of Latin America from colonization to present. Regions are interpreted by analysis of geographical elements and their interrelationships.
Requirements: A Ph.D. in Geography with graduate level coursework in the topic to be taught is preferred.
The successful candidate will teach adult students in classes offered on alternating weekends or one night a week for eight weeks. A generous stipend is paid to teach the course.
*The candidate may teach adult students online and must have online teaching experience or be willing to successfully participate in the online training provided by CMU’s Center for Instructional Design in online teaching.
Local candidates are preferred for teaching assignments but qualified instructors outside local area may be considered.
The University does not sponsor candidates or reimburse relocation expenses for adjunct faculty.
